If you’re starting in San Diego, California, and heading to the San Ysidro Port of Entry (the busiest land-border crossing in the world), reaching Tijuana will take just over 20 minutes. In less than half an hour, you can be sipping margaritas on Avenida Revolución or devouring some delicious tacos al pastor at Taquería El Francés.

Note that there is heavy traffic on the border so if you want to go on the fast lane, apply for a Sentri pass.
