• 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Small group tour: this is a small group tour (maximum of 12 participants) so you’ll meet like-minded individuals. Participants of this Mexico City tour is from the US, Europe, and even Asia! This is really a diverse and dynamic group.
• ⚥ Non-gender specific tours: We used to do group tours for female travelers but through the years, more solo travelers who are men. Everyone of all shapes, sizes, and colors are welcome to join this Mexico City tour!

Day 0: March 14, 2024 (Thursday)

Flights are NOT included in this Mexico City tour. Our office can help you book a cheaper flight but you can also use the search button below to find the cheapest flights to and from Mexico City.

A driver will pick you up at Mexico City International Airport at your arrival time. I will be in Mexico City in the evening of day 0 so we can meet for dinner and do something together!

Day 1: March 15, 2024 (Friday)

9:00 AM: Welcome brunch

We will head to one of my favorite breakfast places in Roma Norte where we will be served great brunch and cocktails. This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in North America.

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Historic Downtown Tour (with food walk)

We will start this Mexico City tour with a walk around the historic center and visit some few taco stops.

✅ Lunch (taco crawl), 2 drinks of your choice

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Free time): Go back to the hotel to rest, shower, and prepare for the evening.

7:00 PM: Mezcal Tasting

We will head to one of the oldest mezcal producers in the country. The family will give us a mezcal tasting session from their own brand. After that, we will head to dinner.

Day 2: March 16, 2024 (Saturday)

8:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Frida Kahlo Museum

We will start the day at Frida Kahlo Museum. You will have time to look at Frida’s Blue House and take photos.

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Coyoacan Neighborhood Tour and Coffee

Go to a cafe for coffee, then start the Coyoacan neighborhood tour. Coyoacan is a non-famous barrio in Mexico City but it is one of the most vibrant and unique!

✅ Coffee or chocolate drink with pastry

12:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Xochimilco Boat Ride

We will get aboard a trajinera in Xochimilco, visit the island of the dolls, and cruise around with tequila and lunch.

Evening activity: We can go to a restaurant, a bar to drink, or eat in our lovely accommodation. Up to you – we can decide on our mood on that day!

Day 3: March 17, 2024 (Sunday)

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Cooking class

Learn how to cook traditional dishes in this 4-course hands-on cooking journey, with market visit. After which, we will eat all the food we made.

2:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Free time): Go back to the hotel to rest, shower, and prepare for the evening.

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Lucha Libre Night

Watch the Lucha Libre night show in Arena Mexico. Before the show, we will have snacks and beers.

Day 4: March 18, 2024 (Monday)

10:00 AM-3:30 PM: Teotihuacan Tour

Visit Teotihuacan for half a day and wander around the pyramids. Take photos and discover one of the most ancient cities in the world. Afterwards, we will have lunch in the area.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Free time): Go back to the hotel to rest, shower, and prepare for the evening.

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Latin American Street food and Farewell Party

We will celebrate our last evening in Mexico City in an indoor Latin American street food joint. We will eat and drink all dishes from all over Latin America.

9:00 PM (End of Day 4): All after dinner activities are optional but you can continue the night in nearby bars in our hotel.

Day 5: March 19, 2024 (Tuesday)

10:00 AM-12:00 PM: Farewell Bruch at a rooftop

We will have another farewell party and brunch at one of the best rooftop restaurants in Mexico City.

12:00 PM (Departure and end of Mexico City Tour): For participants of this Mexico City Tour in April, some of you will continue the trip to Oaxaca City with me. The rest will be transported to anwyhere they want to be dropped off (i.e. airport or another destination).

Where we are staying

We will be staying in a hotel with a bar, restaurant, and common areas. Here, you will also meet our local friends in Mexico City and you’ll meet fellow travelers as well. This area is a safe neighborhood!
